Yankee

I have no idea after all these years why the north and the south still feud back and forth. I have first hand knowledge of this, I being born in the south and my husband in the north. The civil war was a long time ago but yet the feud still goes on. With all the upsets in our country going on now, such as the terrorist attacks, how can they still feud? There are much more important things.

  1. I agree, there are but people get something rooted into their blood and it gets passed down from generation to generation. Someone finally has to say "enough is enough" and move on. Sadly not enough people have said that and that is why the feuds continue.

  2. I think on a one on one basis, most of the time, North and South can and do get along. But when it comes to political climate of a huge group, the differences start standing out more and more. I don't know if it is even possible for us to think only as "Americans" again and reach a consensus on anything. :(
