Nails
Last year was the first time I ever went out and got my nails done. I was really surprised at all the different types of manicures there are out there.
My first experience was with some type of gel. I found out later something they used in the gel was toxic. I quickly changed to what they call "ANC". That is using your own nails as a base but adding the tips to them. I chose the french manicure. At first I had them different colors but I ended up with just the natural look.
Nothing quite like a nice manicure, except maybe a nice pedicure!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I never heard about this type of gel nail. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHave never had my nails done in a salon. In my 20's and 30's I usually kept my nails polished, but in later years, I seldom polish my fingernails. I just don't want to spend the time on it. I like the French look.

Thank you all. My nails are paper thin so I have to do something. I was quite pleased with the results myself.
ReplyDeleteThea,
ReplyDeleteThey really look nice. I've never had my nails done at a salon either. I always manicure them myself. When I was working retail, or in an office, I would spend hours on them every week. I don't do that anymore, just one coat of OPI clear polish and that's it for me. It keeps them from breaking and splitting. The darn stuff is expensive but worth it.

Looks nice! I have yet to get a manicure! I like to keep my nails short though since I'm on the keyboard for my job 8 hours a day :)
