I live 2000 miles away from most of my family with the exception of my oldest sibling out in Utah. My mother and two of my other siblings came to see me a few years back. Of course we are the type of family when something needs to be done we all pitch in to do it. This picture is no exception. We went through quite a few meals together while they were here. I wish they could have stayed longer but that is always the case. This is probably the last time my mother will make the trip. She has dementia.

  1. Glad you do have the memories of your mom's visit with you; it is hard when our parents get older and can no longer participate in activities such as this.

  2. Kitchens always seem to be the gathering place for women, don't they?

  3. Thea,

I'm so glad they got to come and visit you. It'll make a nice memory. I'm sure the time flew by way too fast. It always does.

Thanks for stopping by.
