Buddy
Buddy was one of our pets we used to have. You could swear this dog was smarter than some people. He was diagnosed with congested heart failure right after my mother-in-law was.
Buddy would look forward to walking with my husband everyday to check on his mother. Later my mother-in-law was confined to one of those mobility chairs. When Mike would go into the house he would tell the dog to "go take care of grandma, don't let her get out of her chair." Buddy would go over and park himself right in front of her chair and not move. If my mother-in-law didn't have her slippers on her feet, Buddy would run and get one and then the other to bring them to her.
When this beautiful dog died of a heart attack we were all devastated. He holds a very special place in our hearts.
