Memorial Day and A Very Special Birthday

Thank you to all our service men out there for their service. The ones that are alive and passed.

Memorial Day is always a sad time for me, especially when it falls on our daughters birthday. We lost our daughter in 1988 on Memorial Day. The hurt never goes away. We love you baby!

(I have had bouts of vertigo lately so have not posted much)

    1. Thank you Betty and would you believe someone stole the flowers?

  2. Thea,

As you know I'm so sorry for your loss. I wish things could have been different.

The flowers you placed near Jessica are beautiful!

  5. God bless you Thea! I can only imagine the grief of losing a child. I do know that no matter when you lose a loved one, that time of year, or the passing of what would have been their birthday, seems to rekindle the grief. Even if you don't consciously remember, it seems our brains, heart, bodies are programmed to remember that something is missing and we feel off kilter and sad and then we realize why.

    1. Thank you Barbara. I went out this morning to check on her flowers and some actually had the nerve to steal her flowers! They were the only ones out there that looked like them. I looked all around to see if someone else had them but we just could not find them. What is this world coming to?
