This is the church that I belong to. This church was built in 1818. I think it is in really good shape considering it is so old.

I wanted to share this picture with you. This tree is from the nursing home my mother is a resident of. They never take the thing down, just redecorate it for every holiday. This is Valentine's Day.

Here is my Andy. We got him the Gingerbread Man for Xmas and he really likes it.

I'M Back!

You would not believe the trouble I have had trying to get back on here. I had changed my email since my last visit and never changed it on here, I could not log into this for anything. After hours of working with the Blogger people and taking tons of screen shots I figured it out.

I hope I have not lost anyone due to this problem.

An Accomplishment!!

It is very sad to see a sign on this place but I am so glad all the work is over. Now if it just sells.

The last Microsoft update corrupted my computer. I had to format the thing all over again. Sorry I haven't posted anything for a while. I am still trying to get some things straightened out.

Canning season is upon us once again. I didn't know whether we would be here for that this year or not so I didn't prepare for it.  The house project went a lot slower than planned so here we still are.

My sister-in-law has been doing a lot of canning this year as usual. I went with her on a few trips to the Amish for fresh veggies. I honestly don't even know where my "canner" is at so I asked Minnie if we could do them at her place. She has the perfect set up for it. She loves to can so she told me to go home and come back later. The following pictures are of her getting the tomatoes ready for canning and the finished product. (22 pints)
