What's Happening

It has been a trial around our house hold. My husband's family has had a lot of health issues. His mother (God bless her) is in renal failure along with other organs failing. His oldest sister has cancer and recently was diagnosed with leukemia as well.I have them listed on a few prayer chains. If you get a moment say a prayer for them.

Sorry for such a delay on on updating this blog. We have had to deal with a lot in real life and this got pushed to the way side. With that being said; I would like to share a photo with you. We have not had the chance to get out and see the fall foliage this year so I just snapped a picture real fast from my front door to show you a peek of it.

Do any of you out there that might be looking at this remember the old days? How you couldn't wait for the movie to start? The mosquitos being terrible? Buying those green coiled pics they sold at the concession stand to help with them; but never reaching far enough to the ones in the back of the car? Getting a speaker that didn't work? It sure does bring back memories.

The Storm

Doesn't this sky look menacing? It was a terrible storm by the time it was over with lots and lots of rain and very windy.
A person could use this in a book. I can't think of lots of ways to put it in one too. ha!

Owls

Owls are so beautiful in their own way. I like to look at pictures of them. It is amazing how good their sight really is; especially in the dark. Can you spot the owl in this photo?
